Fire Clay Pottery

Woodlawn residents, Colleen Dooley and Nicole Bijkerk met at local West Carleton community activities 4 years ago. Having both retired and sharing in common interests and experience Fire Clay Pottery was born.

We believe there is joy and beauty in the process of making pottery. Working together provides us with incentive and inspires our creativity. We throw on the wheel and hand build with stoneware clay that is functional and durable. All the glazes we make are lead-free and food-safe.

With our pottery you can bake and serve with it, it is dishwasher safe. Our work is available for sale at our studio, at the craft fairs in West Carleton, and sometimes can be seen at local businesses.

The Happy Narwhal Shop

Natasha Monnon has always loved making homemade cards for her family and friends. When the quarantine hit and people were no longer making non-essential shopping trips, Natasha decided to draw her unique and funny greeting cards digitally and TheHappyNarwhalShop of printable greeting cards was born. Not wanting people who had to celebrate birthdays or special occasions while in quarantine to feel forgotten about, she set out designing cards as PDF files that are very simple to download and print at home. Print. Fold. Done! Natasha also designs custom cards – what’s on your mind?
